Hi there!

My name is Rob Voigt, and I'm a researcher at Stanford University and member of the Natural Language Processing Group and the Interactional Sociophonetics Lab. I've just finished an M.A. at the Center for East Asian Studies, and am currently working at CSLI and the Stanford Linguistics department with Dan Jurafsky, Rob Podesva, and Chris Potts.

My research interests include natural language processing, Chinese and Japanese linguistics, gesture and interaction, expressivity and creativity in language, and the theory and practice of translation.

By the way, if you're interested in NLP, Prof. Jurafsky sometimes teaches a free online course in natural language processing with Chris Manning, which is completely awesome and you should check out.

Thanks for stopping by, and I hope to see you around!
